customer and their shopper, along with access
to WorldPay on-line reporting systems, Customer
Management System(CMS) and Shoppers Management
System(SMS).
WorldPay Multi-Currency solution was pioneered

Many
companies take payment for goods and services
by direct debit or standing order. These are scheduled
payments payable weekly, monthly, quarterly or
annually. WorldPay has implemented an on-line
version of repeat billing called FuturePay. FuturePay
provides an internet based solution where payments
are taken periodically by credit or debit card.
This is ideal for subscriptions to websites, on-line
magazines, hosting services … in fact any
application where payments are taken in installments
or in a regular basis.
Selling
items of low value on the internet has been restricted
due to bank charging structure that levies an
additional charge to cover the cost of processing
small transactions. Products that require a small
payment, such as timely information, shareware
software and access to on-line games, have relied
so far upon either a subscription model where
pre-payments and registration are required, or
they have simply been given away.
The
payment problem has been solved by combining WorldPay's
Secure micro-payment system 'WorldAccount' with
WorldPay's multi-currency solution. Shoppers now
have the ability to pay for goods or services
as low in value as a penny, centime or cent, in
a choice of 22 currencies.
For
the shopper, shopping on the Internet for low
value items is no longer restricted and for the
WorldPay customer the ability to sell products
or services at any value has now become reality.
Both shopper and customer can view their statements
online at any time via WorldPay's CMS or SMS systems.
A
shopper can access their WorldAccount at any time
and from any PC. They can also view their statement
online, change their passwords, top up their account
and request that unused funds are returned to
their card.
A
customer site can operate with both card processing
and WorldAccount and through the standard integration
with the customer web site, shoppers can choose
either payment option depending on the value of
the purchase.
CMS
is a service provided to all World Pay customers
to enable you to access your account information
online. Access to the system is through a username
and password, and upon entering the system you
can isolate then view the transactions passing
through your account. Information provided within
this system not only contains your shopper's name,
address, value of transactions etc, but also your
remittance details. This facility will give you
the peace of mind that your transaction are being
processed and the information relating to them
is being safely recorded. This is available 24
hours a day, whenever you need it.
Our
SMS has a similar interface to CMS but is provided
to shoppers, shopping through our customer's site.
When an initial purchase is made, WorldPay will
automatically generate a username and password
allowing the shopper to access SMS at a later
date. In this area, they can view their purchases
in real time for both their card transaction and
WorldAccount.
